I found this at home... My father bought it in late 50' so maybe original. I was told, that it's not "10th" ski parka, it's gebirgsjager.:happyswing: :happydance: :happyclap: :happyswing: :happydance: :happyclap:


So I want to do gebirgsjager impression too with MP44 or something that looks like G43...

A superb find. :good: If it's original,and it looks like it could well be,you might consider selling it and financing a whole loadout.
If it is original it is way too valuable to risk skirmishing in,a friend of mine just sold one for £1100,genuine Gebirgsjager kit is very soughtafter.
Personally I would consider selling it on one of the dedicated reenactor or collector forums and buying a replica uniform and Tanaka rifle.

Beacuse my parka has probably "summer" color(no white side). So I thought about wearin' HBTs beside it... Maybe in Italy or Creta there was hot also among mountains... I mean in summer...

What do you think???

I wrote to US gebirgsjager reentractors... They said, that they saw this color already, so not my on is the only one...

There was a post somewhere on Panzergrenadier about adapting horse gaiters to make the right sort of anklets for this impression, which seemed quite clever.

I cut out everything(it will be two layer one, beacuse I plan a wendehose too):


I'll make a white bergmütze cover after it, I got detailed photos about original one...
